L’américain Lim, le Malgache Vaifana, les Français Liénart et Revel espèrent faire partie de cette troupe d’élite. Au même moment, à quelques kilomètres de Sper Kunday, en Afghanistan, 250 légionnaires tiennent un poste de combat avancé entourés par des insurgés. Le harcèlement est quotidien…
